HQ, Campsite and Minibus

The 7th Darlington Sea Scouts is one of 10 Scout Groups in Darlington District.

The Group meets during term at its own HQ,

  • Squirrels Tuesday’s 5:45pm – 6:45pm
  • Beavers Wednesday’s 5pm till 6:20pm
  • Cubs Wednesday’s 6:30pm – 7:50pm
  • Scouts Wednesday’s 8pm – 9:20pm

 

The District has its own Headquarters, which can be used for events and activities – please email to book richard.smith@darlingtonscouts.org.uk

The Group Campsite

We have a Log Cabin on Raby Estate that is owned by the group, we have had a cabin on this site for over 80 years!

We hold regular camps here for all sections and invite other groups to join us.

It has a wooded area, river and fire pit. It is also within walking distance of Raby Castle.

Barney the Bus

We have Barney, Our Group Minibus and he is available to hire for Voluntary Organisations and other Scout Group’s

Always enter the date after the day you wish to return the bus. e.g. if you want the bus 1/10/23 – 3/10/23 enter 1/10/23 – 4/10/23

For one day hire, always put the following day as the end date of hire.

 

 

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
