Beaver Adventure Day

Beaver adventure day started early at the pickup point and with a full bus of tired beavers we we’re off to Moorhouse Adventure Centre.  The journey was over quickly and once off the bus the Beavers were wide awake and ready to go.

The first adventure was the toboggan run, climbing into a one-man cart, and then scooting down the wooden track at the bottom of the hill.  Everyone loved the race and the speed but not so much the pulling back up the carts to the top of the hill.

The next activity was crate stacking. A firm favourite of all scouters where you are challenged to get as high as you dare! We had one Beaver make it to 15 crates! Well Done.

Back on the bus and down the A1 to Hardwick Park for packed lunch and the Easter Trail around the beautiful park and lake. We managed to crack the code and guess the secret word also! The day finished with some free time in the play park before heading for home.
