Beaver & Cub Joint Camp

Beavers and Cubs held a joint camp at The Cabin.  They arrived onsite Friday night and started to pitch the tents and setup the camp.  Everyone worked well together and soon all had moved into their new home for the weekend. Supper and some games in the woods before bed ready for Saturday.

Saturday morning they were up early….. VERY EARLY being excited for the day ahead.  After breakfast the Beavers and Cubs set off for a hike to the Roman Baths and Witches Cottage.  They met the Ghost who lives in the Baths who knocked to say hello! Then back to camp to do some shelter building and nature trails around the woods.

Sunday morning breakfast was different and will be done again. Pancakes! With bananas, chocolate sauce and jam. After this, tent’s down and camp packed up.  The Beavers went with George into the outdoor classroom in the woods to do some bug hunting while the Cubs did some Air rifle target shooting on the new range at the cabin.  Well done to the Cubs and some cracking shooting by some. Everyone enjoyed some games in the woods them home for bath and bed.

Well done the Beavers and Cubs it was a brilliant camp!
