J.O.T.T. 2022

Date: 14th May 2022 Author: Richard Smith

Saturday 14th May is J.O.T.T. Jamboree on the trail.  Scouters all around the world put on their hiking boots and go for a hike together. This year was no different and members of the 7th met with other groups from around the district at broken scar picnic area. The squirrels, beavers and cubs completed a shorter walk along the river Tees and then meeting with the Scouts and Explorers who had set off earlier on a longer walk.

Everyone was welcome friends and family and overall we estimate around 270 people joined the hike which is fantastic! At the end of the trail we all came together and had our packed lunch before heading home for a well earned sit down. Well done to everyone who attended and a badge is on its way for you.
