This Year’s J.O.T.T. hike was from Barnard Castle to Staindrop. The 7th and 13th Scouts set off from the buttermarket in Barnard Castle and hiked to Winston along the Teesdale Way to meet the Cub Section from the two groups and have dinner together.  After a short rest, they set off again this time to meet the Beavers in Staindrop.

Then the two groups walked to The Cabin through Raby Estate for a rest, hot dogs and drink. The day was a great success with about 80 people in total joining in on the international event that sees all scouts all over the world hiking on the same day.

The group will be taking part in J.O.T.A. Jamboree on the Air Waves and J.O.T.I. Jamboree on the internet later in the year.
