Night @ the Museum

Date: 25th Aug 2019 Author: Richard Smith

Night at the Museum! The cubs descended on Beamish museum on Friday 16th August for a day of exploring the Victorian town pit village and wider museum. But, come 5pm when every other visitor left, we moved into the masonic hall ready for our night at the museum. We were given a guided tour by Colin and Kenny and got to see behind the scenes. Tea was provided by the fish and chip shot and then supper in the café

We had games and fun in the masonic hall before settling down to bed. We were all up for 8 had breakfast and then spent the day seeing the other bits we had missed the day before like the school, farm and railway station. It was very spooky and magical being in Beamish after dark and we can’t wait to go again!
